Regional Controller - Plantations

Responsibilities:
Our client is one of International largest conglomerates with interests in forestry and plantations businesses.
To support its rapid growth, where the Group has more than a million hectares under forestry/palm oil plantations, our client is currently looking for the following senior & high caliber professional to be part of their team based in Indonesia.
REGIONAL CONTROLLER - PLANTATION

Responsibilities:
The incumbent will report to the General Manager - Sumatera and will be responsible for managing estates up to 50,000 acres. He will lead a team of Estate Managers and will oversee all aspects of management and control of the large estates under his charge. He should also possess the ability to land-clear, replant to achieve optimum density in all replantings etc. Exposure to formulating and planning budgets, quality control and financial functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Agriculture/Plantation Management/Science / Chemistry or any other related qualications.
- Minimum 10 - 12 years of working experience with prior experience managing ACACIA trees preferred.
- Should possess the ability to land-clear, replant to achieve optimum density in all replantings etc.
- Exposure to formulating and planning budgets, quality control and financial functions.
- Required language(s): English.
